About Us

Judith Reitz, M.A., well known and trusted ConsciousLoving.com advice columnist, is the new owner of ConsciousLoving.com. A retired M.F.T., author, and founder of SoulCraft Coaching and Inner Visions Healing Arts, Judith has been a psychotherapist and facilitator of inner growth for over 40 years. Judith began her professional work in 1964 as a Social Worker, and was a Family Therapist and Crisis Intervention Specialistin Police Depts for many years. She co-founded Inner Visions: Center for Healing and Transformational Arts in the early '80s, one of the first Integrative Healing Arts Centers on the West Coast.

This work is a continuation of the founding efforts of William and Kathryn Van Vechten. It was their dream to create a place where people from around the world might come and learn about committed relationships.  William's efforts at this website is prolific.  His influence and wisdom continue to permeate the work we do.

How we choose what to include on our site:

We select the resources, both people and companies, to appear on our site because they have had a profound effect on us. Some of them we know personally, and others we know through their work. If we have been enlightened, inspired, taught, or entertained by them, and if we trust them to be conscious, honest, and wise, we invite them to join our site. They are added to ConsciousLoving only if they respond and indicate their willingness to participate.

The articles, advice columns, surveys, and calendar events come from our resources. We also feature products for sale in our store that we feel are truly valuable. Either we have used the products ourselves, or we have a strong recommendation from people that we know and trust.
